Our Svensk Dykerihistorisk förening, SDHF, (Swedish Historical Diving Society) was founded in 1979 in an action to save the old Navy escape training tower to future generations. The SDHF has about 200 members. The old escape training tower, located on Djurgården in central Stockholm and near the Vasa museum, is kept open week-ends during the summer by volunteers since 1998.
