Experiment

Letter to Pattaya City Hall SEA WALKING

This simple experiment shows what happens if a person wearing a free-flowing helmet (like the SEAWALKER helmet) falls underwater. In the experiment, there is no air host connected, but the outcome would be the same even if it had been. The air inside will be compressed until the water and the air inside the glass (helmet) have the same pressure and the air inside will go to the highest point. The principle of this was known already about 2000 years ago. The problem arises, as shown, if the glass is tipped or the SEAWALKER do not hold the head upright. Water will get in until the pressure between air and water is equal again.
